William S. Reiser

William S. Reiser, MBA, is our Vice President of Product Development and Decision Support. William has been actively engaged in consulting for independent healthcare providers and health systems since 1990. Early in his long healthcare industry tenure, Will established a methodology to determine the value of medical practices for purchase by hospitals, health systems, and private practitioners. He also directed the physician recruitment activities for a seven-hospital health system and structured physician recruitment packages to comply with federal regulations. William is the Halley Consulting content expert in the area of physician productivity compensation. He has consulted with numerous private and hospital-owned practices to identify areas of operational inefficiency and to identify strategies for performance improvement. He has also consolidated individual physician practices into large group practices combining information systems and operations for increased efficiency and leverage in payer plan contracting. Will is the genius behind many of the Halley Consulting tools and models that facilitate performance measurement and improvement. William received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Utah in Psychology and Anthropology and a Master of Business Administration degree from Brigham Young University. He was a contributor to The Business of Healthcare (Praeger 2007).
