Thomas F. Hanrahan
Thomas F. Hanrahan, MHA, FACHE, is a Network Executive for Halley Consulting Group. Since 1974, Tom has served healthcare both on the hospital and medical practice side of the business. His skills include strategic planning, process and quality improvement, regulatory readiness, financial turnaround, business development and physician relations. Tom’s most recent role as Vice President at Intermountain Healthcare led him to oversee the clinics, physicians and health plan subscribers in his region. While at Intermountain, Tom developed a model medical staffing plan now utilized system-wide; saved the system $2 million annually by combining support functions across finance, human resource and administration in his region; and developed a new department to improve charge processes and audit patient billing, resulting in $9 million net revenue added to the system bottom line in its first year. Thomas has written and published several articles including, “Board Overboard,” Trustee magazine, February, 1998 and “New Approaches to Caregiving,” The Healthcare Forum Journal, July/August, 1991. Tom received a Masters in Health Administration from Indiana University and lives in Ogden, Utah with his family.
