Michael J. Ferry
Michael J. Ferry, MPA, is Chief Operating Officer for Halley Consulting Group. Michael has worked in the healthcare industry for more than 25 years in varying leadership roles for both hospitals and physician networks. He has been engaged in physician practice development for 10 of those years, working both with Halley Consulting and serving as the lead operational executive for a large regional physician network affiliated with a national healthcare organization. As a Halley executive, Michael has worked with medium and large clients, including networks of more than 180 physicians. He is also actively involved in providing extensive consulting services to smaller practices. His projects have included interim management of medical practice networks, practice acquisition, network start-ups and a full range of consulting and implementation activity leading network growth and performance improvement. Engaging physicians and hospital executives in operational governance using our council model is a particular area of interest for Mike and he has provided that service to many Halley clients. Michael has a Bachelor of Science degree from Central Michigan University and a Master’s of Public Affairs with a concentration and certificate in Healthcare Management from Indiana University. He was also a contributor and co-editor of The Medical Practice Start-Up Guide, released by Greenbranch Publishing in August 2008.
