Kathleen M. Brown
Kathleen M. Brown, MSSM, is a Practice Consultant for Halley Consulting. Kathleen has more than 25 years experience in information technology, project management, business development, process improvement, training and strategic planning. She has worked with industry, health care organizations, universities and non-profits, as well as city, county, state and federal government agencies. Kathleen has extensive experience designing and implementing software solutions and more than 10 years with healthcare organizations as a project manager, process improvement consultant, and Chief Information Officer. Some specific projects have included the design and implementation of a rural telemedicine network in North Dakota; management of a $2 million statewide project to implement telemedicine in rural clinics throughout California; IT leadership of a nationwide group of surgery centers; and managing an enterprise infrastructure including a hosted patient data center, outcome analysis, clinical studies and data warehousing for a healthcare services provider. Kathleen received a Master of Science degree in Systems Management/Information Systems from the University of Southern California, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from California State University Northridge.
