Halley Consulting Group Adds Practice Consultant

Kathleen Brown joins national physician practice management firm

WESTERVILLE, Ohio --  In order to meet growing business and client needs, Halley Consulting Group, a national physician practice management and consulting firm, has added Kathleen M. Brown, MSSM, as a Practice Consultant.  The announcement was made today by Marc Halley, President and CEO.

“Kathleen has a very broad range of experience in information technology and leading private and public health care organizations through a practice planning process, developing business plans and conducting change management and process improvement – all of which will add great value for our clients,” said Halley.

Brown, a long time resident of Oxnard and recently Morro Bay, California, has more than 25 years of experience, specializing in information technology, project management, business development, process improvement, training and strategic planning.  She began her career with the Department of Navy and then left government work to begin strategic planning, business process improvement and manage a telemedicine grant at CyberOptions for a non-profit long-term care provider.  Brown then worked with I~Prise Communications to help implement telemedicine in rural clinics throughout California.  Most recently, she managed the enterprise infrastructure including a hosted data center for patient data, outcome analysis, clinical studies and data warehousing at VivoMetrics, a healthcare services provider.   

Brown received her Master of Science in Systems Management, Information Systems from the University of Southern California and her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Management from California State University Northridge.
